zMed Healthcare Technologies Pvt Ltd (“zMed Healthcare,”) a Deep Tech Healthcare Company respects user and patient privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how zMed Healthcare collects, uses, and shares personal information when the user uses our mobile and web applications. This Privacy Policy (our “Privacy Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from the user, i.e the Clinical team (“Medical Practitioner / Nurses”) or that the user provides when they visit or use our application (our “App”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, App and all related services and functionality that we provide through them are referred to as our “Digital Services”.

The types of information we collect or that the user may provide when the clinical team downloads, installs, register with, access, or use zMed’s Informed mobile application (the "App").

Health Information
zMed Healthcare is a self-declared HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Compliant company that constitutes or may constitute health or medical information, including protected health information. Any healthcare services relating to or available through our Digital Services will be provided by independent medical practitioners or Hospitals (“Providers”). The Provider will provide the Patient with a Notice of Privacy Practices describing its collection, use, and disclosure of the PHI, not zMed Health. zMed Healthcare is or may be a “business associate” (as that term is used under HIPAA) that provides services to and for Providers, referred to as “covered entities” under HIPAA, and enters into business associate agreements with these covered entities. zMed Healthcare will use and disclose PHI only in accordance with the applicable business associate agreements HIPAA, and other applicable laws.
Information We Collect and How We Collect it
Users: Clinical team, including Doctors, Nurses provided with role-based access can use the application as a part of the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of any disease or condition in a patient.
Patient data: Patient data is collected as part of the application to provide to the Users. The user can access the live patient data vitals and diagnose the case, mitigation , treatment, or prevention of any disease or other conditions of patients from whom the clincial date originate, as authorized by the proper regulatory authorities in accordance with the laws and regulations of the relevant jurisdiction.
zMed collects different types of information about the user, including that may directly identify the user, information that is about the user but individually does not personally identify the user, and information that we combine with our other users. This includes information we collect directly from the user through automated collection technologies.
We collect information from and about users of our App:

Automatically as the user navigates through or uses our Digital Services.

Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, the user Internet activity while on our Site and others (e.g, pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and mouse-overs), and other information collected through cookies, web beacons, session replay software, and other tracking technologies and Information about the user computer and internet connection, i.e. user IP address, unique device identifier, unique, operating system, and browser type.
Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies
As the user navigates through and interacts with our Digital Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about the user's equipment, their computer, browsing actions, and patterns, specifically:

Usage Details: Details of user visits to our Digital Services, such as traffic data, location, logs, referring/exit pages, date and time of user visit to or use of our Digital Services, error information, clickstream data, and other communication data and the resources that user access and use on or in the Digital Services.

Device Information: Information about user computer, mobile device, and Internet connection, specifically user IP address, Patient devices such as Monitors, Ventilators, Syringe Pumps MAC id & IP number, operating system, browser type, and Application version information.

Location Data: The Digital Services, depending on the version, may collect information about the location of user device.
The information we collect automatically may include Personal Data. It helps us to improve our Digital Services and to deliver a better and more personalized service by enabling us to:

How We Use User and Patient Information

zMed takes all reasonable and appropriate measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into due account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal data. zMed accordingly has put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial security measures to safeguard and secure any personal data under zMed control from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and/or destruction.
Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation
zMed processes personal data only in a way that is compatible with and relevant to the purpose for which it was collected or subsequently authorized by the client data controller or individual. To the extent necessary for those purposes, zMed takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current. zMed will adhere to this Principle for as long as it retains such information.
Access
zMed acknowledges that subject to certain legal limitations, individuals have the right to access the personal information/data that we maintain as a controller about them. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data held by zMed as a data controller, should direct his query to the contact information listed below. zMed will respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe. When acting as a data processor, zMed supports any access request addressed to a zMed client.

The clinical team who can access our mobile and web application has the following rights related to their personal information:
